Author's Notes: UPDATE: Well, you may wonder what happened to me :P Some good news and some bad news: We are having another baby (yay, good news) but I've been completely sick this time around (boo, bad news). I have been suffering from morning sickness everyday since before I was even able to test for the pregnancy. It's been really rough and I'm barely able to make it through the day so having a chance to sit still and work on the book hasn't really been possible. I have some good days, but when they come along I end up catching up on the house cleaning and building lego worlds with my two little boys; so there's never time for just me. I'm hoping in the next week or so I'll start to feel better. At least, that's what all the websites and my doctor says. We'll see if the second trimester is nicer to me than the first :) I'm really hoping it is because I could use some creative time to myself and I'm sure you guys would love to see the next few chapters flow without interruption. :P So I'm off to be sickly again for now and hopefully I'll be back soon with a few more chapters. Although we've passed Thanksgiving and Christmas, I'm still going to put those chapters together so it will be a February/March holiday treat. A little late, but I guess it's better than waiting until the holidays come around again :P Love you guys and thanks for the story adds :) It's nice to see people are still out there waiting for an update. It's the top of my list when I start to feel well enough to stare at the computer for more than three minutes at a time :) Hugs!!!!! Plans for the site: 1) I finally found the really cool banner Angel of Dreams made for me when I was cleaning my computer so I edited it to match the new version of the site (this is still in the works). ^_^ 2) The other thing I'm doing is putting ebook versions (for ereader, Palm or iPhone devices) up once I re-edit everything. 3) I'm working on fixing Book I for any inconsistencies between the two and the massive amounts of grammar issues I found. I'm only at Chapter 22 in that Book, so I need everyone to be patient with me :P After I find all the mistakes I'll have to go back and edit them as I am cleaning it up using my iPhone so I can work on it wherever I am. 4)And yes, I am working on the next chapter. It's just going really slow right now :( So that's the plan. I didn't want anyone to think I disappeared again, I'm just pacing myself a little this time and trying not to overwhelm myself with projects so that I can focus on the main one (Book II) ^_^ Love you all! Book III - Random Snippet Annabella put the phone down and felt Vincent kiss her neck again. "Stop," she said quietly. He looked at her in confusion. "But I thought..." he started until he saw her looking out the window with her eyes locking on the figure in the distance. "I have to go. Mary Beth is in trouble and she needs my help," Annabella lied as she opened the car door. She felt Vinny's hand grab her and drag her back gently. "Wait, I'll take you back to the Landing then," he said trying to be helpful. "She's not at the Landing anymore. She's with some friends behind us. I have to go with them. I'm sorry. I'll call you later," she said pulling her arm from his grip. As she exited the car, she felt Vinny's eyes on her back and her fathers' eyes fixed on her face. Dearka didn't move from his spot. She half expected him to run over and smack her, but he didn't even twitch. She began her journey across the grassy hills toward the dirt road entrance where her father had parked the car, close enough to see her in plain view, but far enough away to make her feel like she was on a walk of shame. Annabella approached the car and could feel his eyes burn into hers. "Daddy..." she started.
